Punjab Institute of Cardiology, Lahore (PIC) is a public friendly & service oriented initiative envisioned by Government of the Punjab.
Un-precedent growth in heart diseases in young generation in the Punjab and throughout Pakistan, resulted in conceiving and launching the multiple cardiology units at different locations of Pakistan, like Faisalabad, Multan and Wazirabad. The PIC team is meant to “take care” of the cardiac patients. The natural corollary of the main theme is “Courtesy”, “Treatment” and ensured adherence of general public health.
PIC comprises of approx. 1850 Doctors / nurses and paramedical staff. Staff is recruited and trained by PIC senior members. The base line education criteria for this staff depends on the post requirement.
